KSDAI bersama Menarini luncurkan panduan diagnosis dermatitis atopik

KSDAI, the Indonesian Society of Allergy and Immunology, has recently partnered with Menarini, a leading pharmaceutical company, to launch a new guide for the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a chronic skin condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It is characterized by red, inflamed, and itchy skin that can be both uncomfortable and unsightly.

The new guide, which is available in both print and digital formats, aims to provide healthcare professionals with the tools they need to accurately diagnose and treat atopic dermatitis. The guide covers a range of topics, including the signs and symptoms of the condition, common triggers, and the latest treatment options. It also includes case studies and practical tips for managing atopic dermatitis in clinical practice.

Dr. Ani Haryani, the President of KSDAI, emphasized the importance of accurate diagnosis in the management of atopic dermatitis. “Atopic dermatitis is a complex condition that can present differently in each patient,” she said. “By providing healthcare professionals with a comprehensive guide to diagnosis, we hope to improve the quality of care for patients with atopic dermatitis and help them achieve better outcomes.”

The partnership between KSDAI and Menarini is part of a broader effort to raise awareness of atopic dermatitis in Indonesia and improve access to quality care for patients with the condition. According to Dr. Haryani, education is key to addressing the challenges faced by patients with atopic dermatitis. “By equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and resources they need, we can ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support,” she said.

The new guide for the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis is now available to healthcare professionals in Indonesia. It is expected to be a valuable resource for dermatologists, allergists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with atopic dermatitis. By working together, KSDAI and Menarini are taking an important step towards improving the lives of patients with atopic dermatitis in Indonesia.
