CCEP Indonesia bantu warga Karawang bangun sanitasi bersih lewat WASH+

Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) Indonesia recently launched a new initiative in Karawang to help improve access to clean sanitation facilities for the local community. The initiative, called WASH+, aims to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services to underserved communities in the area.

Karawang is a regency in West Java, Indonesia, that has been facing challenges with access to clean water and sanitation facilities. Many residents in the area rely on communal or shared toilets, which can be unhygienic and unsafe. This lack of proper sanitation facilities poses a risk to public health and can lead to the spread of diseases.

In response to this need, CCEP Indonesia has partnered with local organizations and government agencies to implement the WASH+ initiative in Karawang. The program includes the construction of new sanitation facilities, such as toilets and handwashing stations, as well as hygiene education and training for the community.

The goal of WASH+ is to improve the overall health and well-being of the residents in Karawang by providing them with access to clean and safe sanitation facilities. By promoting proper hygiene practices and encouraging the use of these facilities, the initiative aims to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases and improve overall quality of life for the community.

In addition to providing physical infrastructure, CCEP Indonesia is also working with local partners to raise awareness about the importance of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. Community members are being educated on proper handwashing techniques, the importance of using toilets, and how to maintain clean facilities.

The WASH+ initiative is just one of the many sustainability projects that CCEP Indonesia is involved in. The company is committed to supporting the communities where it operates and to promoting environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

Through initiatives like WASH+, CCEP Indonesia is making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in Karawang and helping to build a healthier and more sustainable future for all. The company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability is commendable and serves as a model for other businesses to follow.
